The Swiss Ephemeris and Terran Atlas install fine on Xp and the stand alone version of the Terran Atlas will run on Xp as well. Technically Timaeus 9 Pro will run in that environment, but it is less than ideal and a few of the display functions will not be as nice (such as the ListView control). Since Windows Xp has been deprecated, I'm no longer recommending usage of that OS. but at this point I can't guarantee that it will work on all Linux/Wine setups. One individual says that it works fine with this setup of Linux/Wine. There are mixed results for running Delphic Oracle 7 (roughly the equivalent of Delphic Oracle 9 WL) on Linux with Wine installed which probably has to do with the version of Wine that you have.

If you run Parallels you, should download and install Timaeus Lite to make sure there will be no problems. Delphic Oracle and Timaeus have been tested in VMWare environment on a number of machines both internationally and in the USA without problems which is why I recommend VMWare. The Terran Atlas however was stable in both environments. Another user in Belgium ran Parallels 9 and encountered problems with the date format with incorrect interpretation of chart data files (*.zcf).

I know of one person who runs Parallels 9 on Mac OSX 10.8 and is not having problems, but another in the Netherlands ran Parallels 8 with regional differences and had problems sizing the toolbars properly. These programs have been tested on Mac OSX 10.6 and later and is a very stable environment (having been tested even in foreign language environments with different regional settings).
